Protect
Floors above and below are covered and the stairwell is masked off.
Prep
Old finish is scuff-sanded, dings are filled and everything is cleaned.
Prime
A bonding primer grips glossy rails and spindles so the topcoat does not chip.
Finish in stages
We paint every other tread so you can still use the stairs, then come back for the rest.
